1. Inventory Management

Ensure efficient storage and handling of inventory to prevent financial loss in accordance with cGMP and cGWP procedures
Allocate bins to products received from Production and ensure Movex transactions are completed
Ensure all storage areas (permanent/ semi-permanent/ temporary) are identifiable and marked.
Consolidate products/ stock according to batch, size and description to maximise usage of warehouse space.
Ensure products/ stock is accessible to pickers at all times.
Schedule and execute cycle counts weekly.
Investigate stock discrepancies and resolve as appropriate.
Maintain accurate records of products counted and adjusted
Address cycle count discrepancies appropriately, adjusting system quantities accordingly.
Ensure high value products are locked in a controlled location, and counted on monthly basis Identify expired. damaged products timeously and dispose of as per SOPs
Collaboration with Planner and Buyer on space management and External Warehouse management

Expected Results

Manage inventory and related processes in such a way that loss of stock, damage and discrepancies are minimised

2. Reporting
Compile a monthly report of Cycle counts completed including discrepancies noted and corrective actions takes
Compile a monthly report of expire and damaged goods disposed off each month

Expected Results

Accurate record keeping and reporting of Warehouse stock movements

3. Customer Order
Checking Checks customer orders picked by Finished Goods Storemen against pickslips to ensure completeness and accuracy Signs, date and records the time on all pickslips processed to ensure traceability
Records errors noted from pickers and directs pickers to correct them compiles an error report for each picker and submits to the team leader for training purposes
Makes necessary changes and confirms pick slips on the ERP system Allocates order to dispatch clerks for pack off and dispatch in alignments with SLAs
Compiles a report of customer orders not dispatched for the team leader on a daily basis
Actions and other work related instructions given by team leader

Expected Results

Ensures that pickslips are accurately processed by the pickers

4. Compliance
Ensures that all SOPs for area of responsibility are up to date and adhered to by staff Maintains SOP in departments and ensure staff are trained on the SOPs
Adheres to safe work procedures and wears PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as appropriate to task being performed and ensure that the staff do the same
Complies with all housekeeping, health & safety and GMP regulations
Complies to all Standard Operating Procedures relevant to their role Participates in initiatives to ensure that the departments does not receive critical findings in an audit

Complies to all SOPs and other compliance policies in the workplace
5. Asset Management
Maintains warehouse infrastructure in a neat and orderly condition.
Operate equipment safely and effectively for warehouse processes
Maintains equipment in a good condition and reports malfunctions timeously to the Warehouse Manager
Ensures no damages occur due to negligence
Reports any equipment and infrastructure problems to the Warehouse Manager Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions and repairs Contribute towards a safe working environment and ensure no loss of time, accidents or damage to infrastructure.

Expected Results

Operates material handling equipment for warehousing purposes with no damage to buildings or equipment with minimal downtime

Requirements (Diploma and experience)

Grade 12
2-3 years experience in a similar role or warehouse role
Stock control or inventory management courses
National Diploma in Warehouse Management or related (Advantage)
cGWP training within a 24-month period
