Edubuzz ("we", "us", "our") operates edubuzz.co.za. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in compliance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), 2013.
Edubuzz is an information website. When you use the contact form, we collect the name and email address you provide so we can reply. We also collect anonymous usage data via standard analytics tools (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity). We do not currently collect CVs, applications or employer account data on the public site.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate the site (for example, analytics providers), and only as needed for those services.
We use cookies and similar technologies for essential site functionality and analytics. We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site. We do not currently display advertising or use advertising cookies. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.
Contact form messages are retained for up to 12 months so we can handle follow-ups, after which they are deleted. Analytics data is retained in aggregated form.
Under POPIA, you have the right to: access your personal data, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS and passwords are stored using industry-standard hashing.
