Job Overview

As an independent service provider, you will be a part of Media24’s Lifestyle division, working at their vibrant salon in the Foreshore of Cape Town. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your hairstyling skills and work in a bustling environment with a steady flow of clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Shampooing and Basin Services: Provide exceptional shampooing and basin services to clients.
  • Styling: Expertise in wash, blow dries, flat iron, and basic up styles.
  • Men’s Barbering: Competence in men’s haircuts and barbering techniques.
  • Ladies Cuts: Skilled in delivering various ladies’ cuts.
  • Keratin Treatments: Proficient in applying keratin treatments to enhance hair texture and health.

Required Qualifications

  • Certified and competent in hairstyling, including the services listed above.
  • Basic computer knowledge is expected.
  • A nail technician qualification would be a bonus.
  • Experience in ESP would be advantageous.
  • Minimum of 1 year’s experience in an established salon or spa.

Preferred Experience

  • The ideal candidate should have at least 1 year’s experience in a well-established salon or spa.
  • Familiarity with ESP (salon management software) would be an advantage.

Shift and Location Details

  • Operating Hours: 07h00-18h00, with shift work required.
  • Location: Cape Town (Foreshore), Western Cape.
  • Commute: Must be able to reliably commute or relocate to Cape Town, with access to public or private transport.
