Job Description

To define and develop complex architecture roadmaps, practices, and processes for a specific domain within the enterprise, such as business, data, security, cloud/infrastructure or technology. A senior data architect would handle complex data architecture challenges and strategic initiatives and assume responsibility for high-level planning, decision-making, and leading the data architecture strategy to support business goals and innovation.

  • Provide subject matter expertise, leadership and insight to demonstrate how the current and future needs of the Business Unit will be met in an integrated, efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner.
  • Provide architecture advice for a specific domain, at strategic and tactical levels to senior/executive stakeholders.
  • Define and communicate the architecture vision for a specific domain as a blueprint that guides the development and integration of technology solutions to meet current and future business objectives in an integrated, efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner.
  • Set strategies, policies, standards, and practices to facilitate alignment and integration between business strategies, technology strategies, and enterprise transformation activities.
  • Act as the subject matter expert to provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams for a specific domain within the enterprise, such as business, data, security, cloud/infrastructure or technology.

Qualifications

Degree: Information Technology

Experience Required
Enterprise Technology & Solutions Architecture

More than 10 years: Significant experience in the specific domain, with a strong understanding of domain-specific challenges and solutions. Track record in IT disciplines including data management, integration and large scale solution architectures. Experience with the complete information system life cycle. Architecture/Solution design delivery in large domestic or global institutions. Ability to deal with all levels of the business and technology stakeholders across large organisations.
